Why Locals Love Aroma Coffee Co.
Nestled along the serene backdrop of Fall City, WA, Aroma Coffee Co. is far more than just your neighborhood coffee shop—it’s a genuine haven for coffee lovers and community seekers alike. Housed within the historic Prescott-Harshman House dating back to 1912, this charming spot perfectly marries rustic, woodsy aesthetics with a cozy, inviting atmosphere that immediately feels like a warm embrace after a long day.
From the moment you step inside, the delightful wooden accents—from upcycled furniture to cedar signs—create an ambiance that is both nostalgic and refreshingly modern. The outdoor deck, complete with rocking chairs, offers a peaceful retreat where you can sip and savor your drink surrounded by nature’s tranquility. It’s not uncommon to find families enjoying time at the unique tree house designed especially for kids, which speaks volumes about Aroma Coffee Co.’s genuine commitment to being a welcoming, family-friendly spot.
The coffee itself is an experience worth savoring. Roasting their batch brew with Camber Coffee, Aroma offers a carefully curated selection of espresso blends and rotating single origins. Whether you prefer the bold and balanced medium roast or the delicate brightness of the light single origin, each cup is crafted with precision and heart. Standouts include the Floral Spring Blossom Latte, infused with subtle cherry blossom syrup that transports you to a blooming spring morning, or the luscious Vanilla Bean Latte featuring housemade vanilla syrup for that perfect sweet comfort.
Seasonal offerings showcase their creativity and dedication to local and homemade flavors. During winter, treat yourself to “The Winter Forager,” a beautifully spiced latte sweetened with mugolio syrup made from brown sugar infused with juniper, pine, and fir tips just foraged from their own backyard. Or indulge in the “Hot Buttered Rummy,” a decadent, cozy blend of brown butter, dulce de leche, and spiced rum balanced just right for those chilly afternoons.
Pair these drinks with their rotating selection of local pastries—the cinnamon rolls, available only on Fridays and Saturdays, are the stuff of legend, disappearing quickly thanks to their sticky, gooey perfection baked by Beautifully Made Cakes. Other treats like the almond poppyseed muffin, the white chocolate raspberry muffin, and gluten-free biscotti (all sourced from local bakeries) ensure there’s something to satisfy every craving.
The spirit of Aroma Coffee Co. goes beyond its artisanal menu. Customers often comment on the warmth and friendliness of the staff, creating a genuine community atmosphere. As one visitor beautifully summed it up, the caffeine bar reflects co-owner Pete Nelson’s vibrant, energetic personality—inviting, fun, and brimming with kindness. Whether you’re a regular or just passing through, the team’s welcoming nature makes you feel like you truly belong.
More than just a coffee stop, Aroma Coffee Co. is a cherished gathering place—where friends meet, families relax, and solitary visitors find a quiet nook to work or reflect. It’s not just about the coffee; it’s about the feeling you get when you’re here, wrapped in the comforting embrace of good drinks, delicious food, and heartfelt community.

Oh so nice! Such a charming place “in the woods”. Expect awesome wooden features throughout the space. Rocking chair on the deck, up-cycled furniture , cedar wooden signs with a modern blend. The caffeine bar is mirror of Mr Pete Nelson’s personality-fun, warm and energetic. Aroma coffee resides within the Prescott-Harshman House 1912.

I don’t live in this area but I always love to stop in when I am here. I actually wish Aroma was alsooo located near my home. It’s really touching to see all the gatherings of people inside and outside every time.. and the staff is kind and welcoming to non-regulars like me. And the food and coffee is so good. God definitely created a special place here, 100% recommend!

Aroma Coffee Co. is an absolute treasure! First of all, it’s the cutest space with lots of seating options and even dedicated spaces for quietly working. They have plenty of food options and so many housemade syrups to choose for lattes. I had the salted caramel latte and my husband had the Bee in a Tree latte and both were delicious.

Aroma Coffee Co is a fantastic coffee spot and easily one of the best places to relax and enjoy quality food and drinks in the area. I ordered a 16 oz hot cappuccino, mini glazed donuts, and the Sunrise breakfast wrap, and everything exceeded my expectations. The cappuccino was perfectly made rich, smooth, and well-balanced, with just the right amount of foam. You can really tell the coffee is crafted with care. The mini glazed donuts were fresh, soft, and lightly sweet, making them a great companion to the coffee. The Sunrise breakfast wrap was filling, flavorful, and well-prepared perfect for a morning or early lunch stop. The staff truly deserve special mention. They were friendly, respectful, and very attentive, offering instant support and helpful suggestions when ordering. Their recommendations made the experience even better, and the service felt genuinely warm and welcoming. What also stands out is the space and atmosphere. The café has plenty of room and comfortable seating, making it ideal for small to medium group gatherings, casual meetings, or even spending time working or unwinding. The environment is calm and inviting, which makes you want to stay longer. Overall, Aroma Coffee Co delivers amazing coffee, delicious food, excellent service, and a comfortable setting all in one place. Highly recommended if you’re in or around the Fall City area. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

Such a cozy and atmospheric place! We enjoyed delicious coffee, tea, and homemade apple tartlets. Every time we’re in this area, we make sure to stop by again. The friendly staff creates a warm, countryside-home feeling — calm, welcoming, and truly pleasant. How wonderful that God gave us the ability to enjoy simple things: a good cup of coffee and friendly conversation. Ecclesiastes 3:11: “He has made everything beautiful in its time.” Moments like these remind us how important it is to slow down and enjoy the little joys — just what God wants for us.

I stopped by this cafe during my bike ride. There are indoor, outdoor tables also a tree house. So cute. I had a cup of chai and bagel. Stuffs are very nice and friendly, too. I would love to check out their tree house next time.

Aroma Cafe is amazing! I would give it 4.5/5 stars - rounding up to 5 here. The ambiance is so cozy and friendly, and the treehouse and outside area are the best! One of the best outside areas I've come across at coffee shops/cafes. Their signature drink selection is quite fun. I opted for the Bee in a Tree latte, which is made with burnt honey and cinnamon, and enjoyed it (I usually get plain lattes!). They have steamers for kiddos - I got my daughter one with the burnt honey flavor and she loved it. The pastry selection is wonderful though I would personally give a 4/5 to all the ones I tried. The matcha almond cake uses almond extract which I personally don't like. The white chocolate raspberry muffin didn't have the white chocolate come through enough and could use more raspberries. My daughter chose the double chocolate muffin which didn't seem to actually have chocolate chips in it. Other notable mentions - free wifi, clean bathroom, and an adult only upstairs seating area. Parking is in back and could feel limited if it's busy. We came on a Wednesday morning and there weren't many spots remaining. It's also right next door to the library! Overall, great cafe and kid friendly for those interested :)
